Documentación Documents	Antes de la estancia, se debe informar a la Comisión Académica del Programa de Doctorado (CAPD) a través de los siguientes documentos: Carta en la que se resuman los datos básicos de la estancia a realizar, fechada y firmada por doctorando, tutor y director(es), a la que se adjunten los siguientes dos documentos: Carta de invitación o documento similar, de la institución de acogida. Plan de trabajo previsto para la estancia. Tras la estancia, el doctorando debe poseer los siguientes dos documentos originales (), cuyas copias acreditarán la realización de la estancia a efectos de poder incluirla en el Documento de Actividades del Doctorando y poder hacerla valer en caso de solicitar la mención de Doctor Internacional: Certificado de la entidad de acogida en el que consten los datos fundamentales de la estancia. Informe del tutor de la estancia relativo a las actividades de investigación realizadas por el doctorando. Nota (): Estas dos informaciones pueden estar contenidas en un único documento físico.	Before the stay begins, the PhD. program's Academic Committee has to be informed by means of the following documents: Letter with the basic data of the stay, dated and signed by the student and the thesis tutor and director(s), to which the next two documents are attached: Invitation letter (or similar document) from the host institution. Work plan foreseen for the stay. After the stay, the student has to have the following two original documents (), whose copies will serve as proof of the activity in order for it to be included in the Student's Activities Document and to be of use if the International Doctor mention is to be requested: Certificate from the host institution containing the basic data of the finished stay.* Report from the stay supervisor at the host institution regarding the research activities performed by the student. Título de tesis: Registro inicial y cambio

Plazo Due date	Registro inicial: al entregar el primer documento de actividades del doctorando. Cambio: Cuando se detecte la necesidad de cambiar el título de la tesis.	Initial registration: when the first Student's Activities Document is submitted. Change: Whenever the necessity of the change in the thesis title is detected.

Información Information	La normativa relativa al registro del título de la tesis se puede consultar en la página de normativas de doctorado. El trámite de cambio de título debe ser aprobado por la CAPD y la Comisión de Doctorado de la UPM (CDUPM).	The regulations related to the doctoral thesis title registration can be found in the PhD. Premio extraordinario de tesis doctoral
Extraordinary PhD. thesis prize

Plazo Due date	Al final de cada curso académico, la CDUPM convoca estos premios para los doctores que defendieron su tesis el curso académico anterior. El plazo máximo para concurrir se comunica a los egresados que reúnen las condiciones para hacerlo.	At the end of each academic year, a call for this prize is launched by the University's PhD. Committee, for the students who finished their studies during the preceding academic year. The due date to participate in this call is communicated to the doctors who are eligible for the prize.
Documentación Documents	Carta de candidatura al premio dirigida al Director de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería y Sistemas de Telecomunicación, a través del Registro de la UPM (se puede entregar en el Registro de la Escuela). Documento de méritos de la tesis doctoral, en el formato que establezca la CAPD, que permitirá decidir los candidatos que son propuestos al premio.	Letter addressed to the director of UPM's School of Telecommunications Systems and Engineering, stating the candidacy for the prize, registered in time either at the School or at the Rectorate. Document containing the merits of the PhD. thesis, in the format established by the PhD. program's Academic Committee, to provide with the necessary information to nominate the proposed candidates.
Información Information	La regulación relativa a estos premios se encuentra en el artículo 34 del Reglamento de elaboración y evaluación de la tesis doctoral de la UPM. Únicamente los doctores que obtuviesen la calificación de sobresaliente cum laude durante el curso académico en cuestión pueden optar al premio.	These prizes are regulated in Article 34 of the UPM's PhD. thesis procedure and assessment regulation. Only those doctors who obtained the Cum Laude honorific mention in the corresponding academic course can opt to this prize.

Solicitud de matrícula inicial a tiempo parcial

Documentación Documents	Carta de solicitud dirigida al Presidente de la CAPD exponiendo la justificación de la solicitud. Copia de la documentación que sustenta la justificación.	Letter addressed to the President of the PhD. program's Academic Committee, stating the reasons for the request. Copy of any documents that prove the existence of the reasons included in the letter.
Información Information	Por defecto, la admisión de un estudiante se realizará a tiempo completo. Hay un número limitado de plazas a tiempo parcial por cada curso, por lo que la solicitud de matriculación en este régimen de dedicación debe estar bien documentada.	The admission is full time by default. Only a limited subset of part-time seats are available each year, thus the request has to be backed by accompanying documentation.
